Election 2020: My Contest With Mahama Is Record Based – Akufo Addo Jabs

President Akufo Addo has insisted that his Presidential contest with NDC flagbearer, John Mahama in this year’s election is based on records and achievements.

Speaking on Wontumi radio and TV on Saturday August 1, Akufo Addo noted that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer had his chance to serve Ghanaians but failed woefully.

“My contest with John Mahama will be record-based.What he achieved when he was in power and what i have also achieved,After this, then we will look at what we can do in future,” he stressed.

President Akufo Addo further stated that he does not pay attention to doomsayers but rather focused on the task given him by Ghanaians.

“Our focus is on what the good people of Ghana have tasked us to do.What will capture my attention is not what the doomsayers are doing but what the Ghanaian people expect me to do,” he emphasized.

He added, “my second coming which I am pleading with you to help make it possible would see the completion of all road projects and i promise you that your worries will soon be over.” 

President Akufo Addo is currently in the Ashanti region as part of a regional working tour.
