Dr. Bawumiah Is Not Fit To Lace Dr. Duffuor’s Shoes, It Is Disrespectful To Even Think Of Comparing Them – Sam George

The Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, Samuel Nartey George has described the vice president and running mate for the NPP in the 2020 elections, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumiah as unfit to tie the shoes of former governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor.

In an interview with Lantam Papanko on GhOne TV’s GH today he said “ Doctor Bawumia is not fit to lace the shoes of Doctor Duffour when it comes to economic achievement. Don’t ever try to equate Dr. Duffour to Dr. Bawumia.

According to Sam George, comparing Dr. Duffour to Dr. Bawumia is a disrespect to the legacy of Dr. Duffour. He indicated that Dr. Bawumia’s PhD thesis was on the work of Dr. Duffour.

“ Don’t try and compare the two, it is most disrespectful to the record and legacy that Dr. Duffour has contributed to the economic stability of this country. When Dr. Duffour and Co where battling with Chairman Rawlings from the PNDC time when we had a mess of our economy where was Bawumia?”. He added.
