Breaking News: EC To Declare Presidential Election Results In A Few Minutes After Finally Resolving Issues In Savelugu

The Electoral Commission is finally gearing up to declare the results of the 2020 Presidential elections after finally resolving the outstanding issues in Savelugu in the Northern Region.

The Savelugu Constituency, according to information picked up by this portal, was the only outstanding constituency that was preventing the EC from declaring the results.

The NPP, even though won the presidential elections in the Savelugu constituency, the parliamentary went to the opposition NDC even though the NPP raised concerns.

With both the NPP and NDC refusing to sign the declaration of results, the EC was unable to declare any final results.

However, in a live interview on Metro TV, NPP General Secretary, John Boadu has revealed that President Akufo-Addo has instructed the Party agents in the constituency to sign the parliamentary declaration for the NDC to be declared parliamentary winners in that constituency.

This will also mean that the NDC will sign the Presidential declaration forms for the NPP to be declared Presidential winners in that constituency, hence giving the EC the all-clear to declare the final results.
