Angry NDC Supporters Besiege EC Office Over Alleged Electoral Manipulation

Hundreds of angry NDC supporters have besieged the headquarters of the Electoral Commission at Ridge in Accra over what they allege to be attempts by the Commission to manipulate electoral results.

The supporters, numbering in their hundreds, made their way to picket in front of the Electoral Commission even though the commission had yet to announce any results.

Another batch of supporters, also numbering in the hundreds have allegedly made their way to the house of the NDC flagbearer, ostensibly to prevent a supposed meeting between their flagbearer and the Ghana Peace Council.

Meanwhile, the Electoral Commission has urged the public to remain calm while they collate results from some other regions aside from the 7 regions results they released out of the 16 regions.

The results according to them were delayed due to rainstorm in some parts of the regions.
