Audio: Mahama Boy, Appiah Stadium Invokes ‘Antoa’ To Curse Kejetia Traders For Chasing Away NDC Campaign Team

Appiah Stadium, a popular serial caller affiliated to the opposition National Democratic Congress has invoked feared and popular deity ‘Antoa’ to curse traders of the newly refurbished Kejetia market in Kumasi who chased away some members of the NDC campaign team a few days earlier.

It was a scene of hooting and insults as some traders in the ultra-modern redesigned Kejetia market chased away a group purported to be members of the Ashanti Regional NDC Campaign team as they went about their peaceful campaign activity.

The new Kejetia market, constructed by the Ghanaian government with the partnership and financing of the Brazilian government; with all the structural components and other materials for the project imported from Brazil, has been one of the most touted legacies of former President John Mahama, who is also the flagbearer of the NDC for the 2020 elections.

However, a video footage which made rounds on social media a few days earlier depicted some obviously unenthused traders chasing away the Ashanti Regional NDC campaign team with hooting and insults.

Reacting to the issue however, Appiah Stadium, a self-confessed die-hard fan of NDC candidate, John Mahama, has described the traders as ungrateful. According to him, these traders have a beffitting market to ply their trade because of the NDC’s vision.

Appiah Stadium wondered why these women will have the boldness to profess love for the NPP considering the fact that they have nothing to show for all the years of loyalty to the Danquah-Busia-Dombo tradition.

He invoked the feared ‘Antoa’ deity on the traders, calling for their business capital to go down the drain.
