Justin Frimpong Kodua, General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (MPP), has declared that no evil plots against the party will succeed.

The party, according to the chief scribe, will remain strong and overcome its challenges in 2023.

He stated that while 2022 was a turbulent year, 2023 will be better and people’s economic conditions will improve.

The legal practitioner stated that the NPP will overcome its challenges during a thanksgiving service held at the party’s headquarters in Accra.

To support his point, he quoted Psalm 91:7, saying a thousand shall fall at our side and ten thousand at our right-hand side, and no harm shall come near us.

“Any evil plots of the devil should be behind us in the coming year. We are asking God to make 2023 a blessed year. We hope that the cedi will continue to rise against the US dollar in 2023.”

”We are optimistic the economy will rebound in 2023. We will witness the restoration of the economy. Things would be better in 2023, he stressed.

Meanwhile, the party has designated the last Wednesday of each month in 2023 as a day of prayer, with members expected to pray for the party.

”God willing, from next year, we have set aside the last Wednesday of every month to pray and thank God. We will not ask him anything but to say thank you.”
