Akufo-Addo Will Give Us A Big Problem If He Hands Over to Mahama In 2025 – NPP’s Kusi Boafo

It would be disheartening and an insult for President Nana Akuo-Addo to handover power to John Mahama, Mr. Thomas Kusi Boafo has said. 

The renowned economist in an interview on Wontumi TV/Radio stated that he is optimistic the New Patriotic Party (NPP), would win the 2024 elections to put to an end, to the political survival of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).  

“It would be a huge insult for Nana Addo to handover to Mahama. With the foundation being laid, if NPP wins 2024, that would be the end of NDC”, he predicted.  

According to him, Mr Mahama taking over from President Akufo-Addo in 2025 will create a problem no well meaning Ghanaian will want and therefore the ruling NPP must go all out to capture power beyond 2025.

Meanwhile President Akufo-Addo has pledged to ensure a smooth transition of power in 2025 to whoever takes over from him.
