Accept E-Levy Or No Free SHS And Jobs For You – Kusi Boafo To Ghanaians

Thomas Kusi Boafo, the Chief Executive Officer of the Public Sector Reforms Secretariat, has urged Ghanaians to adopt the contentious e-levy.

Accepting the fee, he argued, is the simplest way to avert the country’s economic problems.

Kusi-Boafo stated, that the government’s income mobilization is very low, resulting in a large budget deficit, and that the government of Ghana will forsake the programs it is pursuing unless the Electronic Transaction Levy (E-levy) is passed.

“As a result, Ghanaians must make a choice: if we don’t like free education, we must cease hiring our children, we must not increase wages and salaries, and Kusi-Boafo must force workers to resign…

I’ll do so, and no one will have to pay the E-levy.

“There will be no road for you, no schools will be built, and no tier two workers will be paid…

“Ghanaians want the government to do all of these things, and as a listening government, it is incumbent on the government to assist, particularly the Apiate people, in order for God to reward us.” In Twi, Kufo-Boafo remarked, “This is the time we must demonstrate that we are rehabilitating the country.”
