3 Members Of Carlos Ahenkorah’s Campaign Team Reportedly Test Positive For COVID-19, 1 Confirmed Dead
According to Prime News, some 3 members belonging to the campaign team of former deputy minister for trade and industry, Carlos Ahenkorah have tested positive for COVID-19, with one person unfortunately passing on.
The three persons, according to Prime News are one Nana Boakye of Tema West, who is currently been treated from home, one Bobo who is a polling station chairman, and who is said to be currently on admission at Caico Hospital. One Amankwah who is said to have been the Tema West MP’s coordinator sadly passed on yesterday at the LEKMA hospital.
Mr Ahenkorah tendered in his resignation yesterday after he came under intense pressure following some interviews he granted in which he admitted to touring some registration centers despite being aware that he had tested positive for COVID-19.
Pressure is still mounting from the quarters of some individuals and civil society organisations who despite his resignation, have called for his prosecution.
