You Don’t Pay Tax; You Have No Right To Ask Others To – Lawyer Fires Akufo-Addo
Lawyer Mawuse Oliver Barker-Vormawor, has said President Akufo-Addo should be the last person to talk about taxes in the country.
According to him, the President does not pay taxes and there he has no right to tell others to pay.
His comment comes after the president charged lawyers in the country to pay their taxes as responsible citizens.
In response, Lawyer Vormawor wrote on Facebook, “Lawyers must pay their fair share of taxes. No doubt! But a president who doesn’t pay tax is the least competent messenger for that message.”
