The Electoral Commission has assured Ghanaians that no eligible Ghanaian voter will be left out of the 2020 elections.
According to the commission, despite the concerns raised by the opposition NDC to the effect that some names are missing from the register, such persons can still be allowed to register.
In an interview with TheGhanaReport portal, the acting Director of Public Affairs of EC, Mrs Sylvia Annoh, explained the EC could still refer to the primary data collected during the registration exercise.
“Once legitimately, you have registered and you have your name on the voter list, you will not be disenfranchised,” she told the website after an Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting to address concerns by political parties.
