We Don’t See How The E-Levy Is Going To Benefit Ghanaians, We Will Continue To Fight Against It – NDC

The e-levy bill has become a major political topic in recent days, with the two major political parties holding opposing viewpoints.

The law has provoked several debates both inside and outside of parliament. While the NPP believes it will benefit Ghanaians greatly, the NDC members are completely opposed.

Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, the National Democratic Congress’s communication director, feels that the bill will not benefit ordinary Ghanaians in any way, and that the NDC will continue to oppose it as long as it does not benefit the majority of Ghanaians.

Sammy Gyamfi, speaking to the press earlier, firmly promised Ghanaians that the bill will never be enacted if the NDC caucus believes it will bring difficulty in ordinary people’s life.

He bemoaned the fact that the current government’s treatment of Ghanaians is already intolerable, and that members of the National Democratic Congress will not stand by while things worsen.

“We are keeping a close eye on everything and will continue to do everything we can to ensure that Ghanaians benefit from every policy implemented in the country.” We don’t see how the e-levy bill will assist Ghanaians right now, and we will continue to fight it,” he stated.
