A Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mame Yaa Aboagye has suggested that the huge turn out for the compilation of the new voters’ register means Ghanaians are ready to endorse President Akuffo Addo a second term.

According to her, the numbers indicates that the ruling NPP is doing a good job and people are willing to ensure they’re maintained come December 9, 2020.

She spoke to MyNewsGh after visiting some registration centres in the central region.

“Since we got to the Central Region region the numbers we have seen of people registering for the new voters’ register is so encouraging even with these circumstances including wearing a nose mask, washing your hand and other inconveniences, we realized that a huge number of people have registered and that was so encouraging and given the NPP hope of winning in all the sixteen regions across the country,” she said.

She was optimistic that the NPP will be in power for the next twenty years and beyond considering the development agenda the party is well noted for.
