Voters’ Register: EC Makes Special Arrangement for Pregnant Women, Aged

The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced a special arrangement to facilitate registration for pregnant women, the aged, persons with disabilities and those with special needs.

According to the commission, these group of persons will have the opportunity to register at the various district offices of the Electoral Commission from July 2 to August 6.

In a statement on Friday, the EC said these category of persons can download the registration and guarantor forms from its website, fill same with their details and submit it to the registration to facilitate the registration process for them.

The statement read, “each applicant is to present a valid passport or a Ghana Card which is also known as the National Identification card to prove their eligibility to register.”

Those without these cards, according to the EC, must be guaranteed by two persons who have already registered.
