Angel FM Morning Show host, Captain Smart has descended on the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the violent posture both parties have exhibited in the voter registration exercise.
The exercise since its beginning have been associated with violence, the recent one being a clash between supporters of the two leading parties at Nkrankwanta in the Dormaa West District of the Bono Region over the weekend.
Captain Smart vented out his anger at the two parties who can’t seem to tolerate each other ahead of a crucial elections this year.
“So when will NDC and NPP stop these foolish things? They are not ready to stop fooling,” he fumed.
He bemoaned how politics have made security personnel handicapped to exercise their duties freely.
“Security officials who go to polling stations are always unwilling to go all out during chaos because they don’t know which one is NPP and which one is NDC. I have been a witnessed to an instance where soldiers and police officers were rendered useless at Tafo Pankrono. All they could to was to fire warning shots,” he said.
