Top Ghanaian Lawyer Calls For Chief Justice To Be Investigated Following Bribery Allegations

A top lawyer has called for investigations into the conduct of Chief Justice Kwasi Anin Yeboah after the head of judiciary was cited in an alleged 5 million dollars bribery allegation by a Kumasi-based lawyer, Kwasi Afrifa.

According to Lawyer Oliver Barker Vormawor, the allegations against the Chief Justice must be thoroughly investigated since it is becoming one too many.

A Kumasi-based lawyer, Kwasi Afrifa has claimed in a letter to the GLC that his client, a Chief told him that the Chief Justice demanded a 5million dollar bribe from him after he was led by some unnamed persons to see him concerning a case in court.

Lawyer Kwasi Afrifa also claimed in his letter that according to his client, the Chief Justice had asked him drop his lawyer and employ Akoto Ampaw to represent him as part of the measures aimed at securing judgement in his favor.
