Education Minister, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO has denied claims that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) prior to the 2016 elections promised to build some 350 senior high schools.
Speaking on Asempa FM, he noted that never for once once did the NPP made any pronouncement anywhere that it’ll do something like that.
He called on persons making such claims to provide evidence insisting it cannot even be found in the party’s manifesto.
The NPP and NDC find themselves in a tug of war for schools in a bid to phase out the double track system associated with the free senior high school programme.
