Former president John Dramani Mahama has said he feels vindicated considering the abysmal performance of the Akufo-Addo led government that took over from him in 2016.
Wrapping up his ‘thank you tour’ the NDC leader said he knew posterity will always be the judge but he never expected it to come so soon.
“I’d always thought the posterity that was to judge me was very far away but it has come too soon under this government’s watch. I did not see vindication. How can I see vindication when the impact of this government’s mismanagement of the economy has been so grave on the people of Ghana whom I hold very dear?” he said.
Mr Mahama expressed confidence in the NDC’s chances of winning the 2024 polls.
