Comedian, Kwaku Sintim Misa popularly known as KSM has raised eyebrows over the ruling New Patriotic Party’s determinatio to break the 8 ahead of the 2024 polls despite the numerous hardships.
In a rather satirical manner, KSM suggested the NPP seem to be “walking by faith and not by sight”.
“Show some love for the NPP. Talk about FOCUS. The more people complain about hardships and difficulties, the more it is ENERGIZED to BREAK the 8. Practical meaning of “walking by faith not by sight”, pakmediagh reported him.
His comment follows President Akufo-Addo’s rallying call for support to finish his second term on high so the party can break the eight.
Speaking to NPP faithful at their 30th Anniversary and National Thanksgiving Service held at the Kofi Ohene-Konadu auditorium at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) , today 31 July 2022, under the theme; “NPP@30: Our Shared Traditional, Holding and Working Together a Stable and Prosperous Nation”, President Akufo-Addo, said it is his hope that the party will remain united to prosecute the agenda of his remaining term and to go on to win the 2024 general elections.
“I want to end by making one appeal to you, I want you to help me to achieve the last great political feat of my career in Ghanaian politics, that on the 7th of January 2025, I will go to Black Star Square and hand over the baton to our next NPP President of the Republic who we would have chosen, supported and brought to victory” President Akufo-Addo said.
“Victory in 2024, that is our goal, that is our task and that by the Grace of God, we will achieve” he added.
