Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako has admonished traditional leaders who involve themselves in politics.
Speaking on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo show, a furious Kweku Baako described such chiefs who engaged in politics as ‘kindergarten kids’ and advised them to quit that nonsense.
According to him, the constitution outrightly frowns upon chiefs engaging in active partisan politics, insisting he could not bring himself to why some chiefs who are expected to exhibit wisdom will do that.
However, he said, the chiefs can rather show appreciation for developmental projects brought in the area but going over board to endorse politicians is unconstitutional and unwise.
