Stonebwoy To Drag Kelvyn Boy To Court Over ‘Defamation Of Character’ Claims

Published

on

Award-winning dancehall act Stonebwoy has revealed that he has instructed his legal team to initiate legal processes aimed at dragging his former signee, Kelvyn Boy to court for defamation of character.

This, according to the super talented artiste is in connection with comments KelvynBoy made via social media last week after he was supposedly attacked at an event in Ashaiman.

After the said attack, Kelvyn Boy took to social media to link his former boss to the unfortunate attack on him, insinuating that the Bhim Nation boss had ordered the attackers to act on his behalf.

However, speaking as a guest on UTV’s United Showbiz with Nana Ama McBrown, Stonebwoy denied any involvement in the attack, saying he felt disrespect at the insinuations made by his former signee after the incident.

Stonebwoy further revealed that he has already issued instructions to his lawyers to initiate legal proceedings in order to clear his name, adding that the nation will soon hear about it.

Why Won’t People Say I Am NPP? Sarkodie Bemoans Use Of His Song For NPP Campaign

Published

on

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has expressed his displeasure at the ruling New Patriotic Party for playing his hit song “Ofeetso” at their political event, saying this is why people tag him as NPP.

What greater joy would there be than for an artist to have his artistry recognized and celebrated at no mean place than a political event that has several people attending. Unfortunately, in Ghana, such recognition can be suicidal as a result of the extreme partisan bias that dominates our politics.

Sarkodie, on several occasions, has been tagged NPP as a result of mainly his affiliation to some top NPP apparatchiks, and also largely because of a song he did against erratic power supply (dumsor) during the erstwhile NDC administration.

In fact, just recently the rapper came under severe attack from the NDC when he advised the communications officer of the party, Sammy Gyamfi to take down a widely criticized post that many thought was insensitive to the memory of the late George Floyd who lost his life under very harrowing circumstances.

It is, therefore, no surprise that the rapper has taken to social media to lament the way the ruling NPP keeps playing and repeating “Ofeetso” at their political event, saying this is why many people refer to him as NPP.
