Fire has gutted parts of the Kantamanto market in the central business district of Accra.

According to an eyewitness account, the fire reportedly started around 10 pm on Tuesday, December 15, 2020,

Onlookers called for help from the nearby fire service station who have since curbed the spread of the fire.

The news however has got social media talking about how market fires seem to becoming a perennial problem for the nation.
