Sir John To Be Buried In March 2021

The late Former General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie is said to be buried in March 2021.

According to Atinkaonline.com, the family set the date after officially announcing his pass on to the government.

“The burial would be in March 2021; Well that is what came up from the meeting with the government,” the source said.

Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, popularly known as Sir John passed on to glory on Wednesday July 1, 2020.

Before his demise, he was the CEO of the Forestry Commission. Reports have suggested he died of the novel Coronavirus, however, the family has denied the report insisting only President Akufo Addo can proclaim that.

His one week celebration has been slated for July 22, 2020 at Sakora Wonoo in the Ashanti Region.
