Some Ghanaians have expressed their displeasure with what they described as “Tribalism and Bigotry “ by the NPP government on Twitter.

According to our earlier report of alleged massive deployment of forces to the Eastern Border of Ghana ahead of the Voter Registration Exercise, scores of Ghanaians took to Twitter, a social media platform to protest against the deployment.

Many of the protesters, believed to be citizens of the Volta Region, lamented on how unfair and cruel the officials are treating them.

This protest has seen Volta Region presently Trending at the number one position on Twitter.

Among the protesters are;
Rockson Nelson- Dafeamekpor, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Richard Dela Sky of Citi Fm and many more.

One of the protesters with a Twitter handle: @MacJordaN said they won’t allow Tribalism and Bigotry in Ghana.

However, Adansi-Asokwa MP, KT Hammond in response said, the security officials are to prevent foreigners from participating in the voter registration.

The Soldiers, the Police, the immigration or whatsoever, they are maintaining the peace, making sure that there is no infiltration”.
