Sam George Descends Heavily On the Office of the President

The Lawmaker representing Ningo-Prampram constituency in Parliament known for his eloquence and fearless views on national issues opens fire on the current occupants of the Flagstaff House.

Sam George reacted to a flyer inviting audience for a memorial service for George Floyd.
The flyer listed the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, The Ghana Tourism Authority, Office of Diaspora Affairs( Office of the President) and the Diaspora African Forum as Organisers of this event to be held in front of Diaspora African Forum (Dubois Centre) on Friday , 5th of June, 2020.

However, the Lawmaker sees this event as irrelevant at this very crucial time that the country is battling the Covid-19 Pandemic.
He said Ghanaians are not angry enough with the “Wanton Idiocy ” which can be described as a “Stupid Behavior” being displayed.

He lamented on how those who control Public Resources would insult our intelligence and sensitivities in spending huge sums of money to organize needless events at the peril of the lives of the citizens of this country.

He concluded that, “May the souls of the Zongo 7, Ahmed Suale, Kintampo accident victims, 3 Takoradi girls, murdered Mankralo of Prampram and many more, who have lost their lives in equally tragic circumstances but did not even evoke a strain of sympathy from President Akufo-Addo and his cohort, continue to rest in peace.”

George Perry Floyd was an African-American man who was killed by a white policeman during an arrest in Minneapolis. Protests over police treatment of Floyd and other African Americans quickly spread across the United States and all over the world.
