Salma Mumin In Trouble For Lying That MTN Stole 10k From Her Momo Account

Actress, Salma Mumin is facing legal threat from Telecom giants, MTN after she falsely alleged that officials of MTN took an amount of ¢10,000 from her momo wallet without her knowledge.

She wrote on Instagram,“MTN keep saying nobody can withdraw your Mono account without your concern but I just found out my over 10,000 cedis from my mono account has been taken… MTN is not safe anymore.”

However, in a rejoinder, MTN rubbished her claims and demanded an unreserved apology within 24 hours or face the full rigours of the law.

As @Salmamumin is very much aware, the said amount was not in her MoMo Merchant Wallet and no money had been taken from her MoMo Merchant Wallet as claimed. The Corporate Communications Unit of MTN has given the actress 24 hours to render an apology for her actions in the post, which have since been deleted from her Instagram page.

However, Salma Mumin has apologised to MTN after the directives on the same medium she defamed the company.
