‘Runaway’ Husband Of Quadruplets Returns After Wife Received Help From Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang

Earlier this week, there had been news in the media about a man who allegedly abandoned the wife in the Bibiani Municipal hospital for giving birth to quadruplets.

However, information reaching us indicates that, the man has returned, claiming he had not run away from his wife and children as reported but then he had gone in search of money to cater for their upkeep.

This was after the woman received GHC 2000 financial help from Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang after being touched by the new mother’s story.

Former Minister of Energy and Petroleum and also a current Member of Parliament for Ellembelle, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah, did the donation on behalf of the National Democratic Congress’s Vice Presidential Candidate.

Presenting the donation, the lawmaker said, Prof. Naana was moved by the woman’s condition and hence her decision to support her with that token.

George Ackah, father of the quadruplets is said to be a cleaner whilst the mother of the children is unemployed.

Meanwhile, they already have two children making this addition to increase the number to six.

Information reaching us reveals that, though the returnee husband had no tangible reason for his disappearance after the birth of his children, all he said was that he had gone to search for money for the upkeep of the children and their mother.
