REVEALED: “It’s Not True The Sermon Was 20years Ago…” – Did Bishop Dag Lie?

It has been a torrid few days for Leader of Lighthouse Chapel, Bishop Dag Heward Mills owing to a leaked audio.

In the audio reported to be a sermon he preached 20 years ago, the renowned man of God made some unfortunate remarks about the overlord of the Ashanti Kingdom, Otumfuor Osei Tutu II.

The Bishop has since apologised to the eminent ruler in a press statement but a fresh revelation has emerged with some purported anomalies in the apology statement.

According to Luv FM journalist known on twitter as @ObiMpenaAustine, Bishop Dag lied about timing of the sermon.

He wrote on twitter, “Bishop Dag has apologized to Asantehene over contents of a leaked tape where the man of God is heard throwing subtle jabs at the King for not bringing development to his people

“It’s not true the sermon was 20years ago because he referenced the funeral of Otumfour’s mother.”

So the big question, is Bishop Dag lying?
