Head of Monitoring at the National Sports Authority (NSA), Kwame Baa Mensa, has asked government not to accept Adjoa Sarfo’s second coming.
According to some reports the Dome-Kwabenya Member of Parliament (MP) was sabotaging the New Patriotic Party (NPP) because she was not made the Deputy Majority Leader. The MP has been in recent social media trends, and she has been absenting herself from Parliament since the current Parliament sitting on the premises of going on a Leave. After requesting for a four weeks extension of her previous leave, she has recently written for a three months addition.
“If Adjoa Sarfo has a problem she should resign for others to take over. There are a lot of women in the party who can get the job done. I miss Hon Afisa Djaba, the former Gender Minister, she was the best woman to lead the Gender Ministry after serving as the women’s organizer for two terms. That Ministry is very crucial, Hon Adjoa Sarfo should step aside”, Kwame Baah Mensah said.
“This is not how we want to break the eight. We want result. We suffered eight years in opposition, we don’t want to return. Breaking the eight is about making changes in some of the administrations”, he added.
He advised President Akufo-Addo not to accept the second return of the MP who doubles as the Minister for Gender.
