Over 90 Percent Of Education Ministry Staff Infected With Covid- Minister Confirms

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has shockingly revealed that, more than 90 percent of the staff in the Education Ministry have tested positive for the fatal Coronavirus.

The Minister of Education revealed that, after being tested positive for the virus, mass testing was conducted among staff in the Ministry which led to the disclosure.

However, he said though almost all of them after the test proved to be positive, most of them were also asymptomatic and as such it was difficult knowing since they didn’t exhibit any symptoms.

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh said, “After my second result came out as positive, testing was conducted on all staff at the ministry and the results showed that out of every 50 persons, about 45 had contracted the virus. Most of them are asymptomatic so they are isolating at home.”

Earlier, the Minister had been infected with the deadly virus which led to his admission at the University of Ghana Medical Center.

Dr. Prempeh said the experience was acutely depressing as he had never in his 52 years been admitted in a hospital and as such, prayed no one contacted the disease, he narrated unreservedly.
