Over 120 NDC Members In Mpraeso Constituency Switch Allegiance To NPP

More than 120 National Democratic Congress (NDC) executives and members at the Mpraeso Constituency in the Eastern Region have defected to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

According to the defectors, this switch has been necessitated by what they describe as “an unprecedented development in Mpraeso Constituency and the country by the Akufo-Addo led government.”

They maintained that the successes and the competent leadership of President Akufo-Addo had informed their decision to join the NPP.

They pointed out policies and programmes such as the Free Senior High Schools, NABCO, Planting for Foods and Jobs, among others, have greatly impacted their lives and that of their families, saying “through a policy like the Free SHS our younger siblings I have been able to access education in prestigious schools.”

They urged Ghanaians to vote massively for the NPP in the upcoming December 7 elections.
