NPP Is An Ungrateful Party, Don’t Work For Them For Free – Ken Agyapong Tells Wontumi
The outspoken member of parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has cautioned Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi to be mindful of using his media networks to work for the NPP for free.
According to the maverick parliamentarian, the NPP has shown that they are very ungrateful, and are not very rewarding to party folks who have used their private platforms to push the Party’s agenda.
Speaking on Wontumi TV, Ken Agyapong noted that despite the fact that he has used his own media platforms, especially Oman FM and Ash FM to propagate NPP agenda at very high risk to the company and staff, his efforts have not been rewarded since the party came to power.
According to him, the NPP uses his platforms for free but pays huge sums of money to UTV and other media houses to run adverts for the party.
Kennedy Agyapong sadly recounted how his own radio station Ash FM was struggling to survive while his Party was paying huge sums to other media outlets to run party adverts.
He therefore advised Chairman Wontumi to ensure that he charges the Party for any adverts and promotions.
