Nine Mpraeso SHS Students Isolated Over Suspected Covid-19 Cases

Nine students of the Mpraeso Senior High School in the Kwahu South District of the Eastern Region have been isolated over suspicion of Coronavirus.

According to GhanaWeb, the school is awaiting test results of the students to ascertain whether they’re positive or not.

In the meantime, they continue to receive medical attention while in isolation.

Reports of Covid-19 cases across various senior high schools in the country have seen parents demand their children come back home.

Accra Girls Senior High confirmed eight Covid-19 cases which led to a demonstration in the school.

According to the Ghana National Education Campaign Coalition (GNECC), “should the unfortunate happenings continue, closing down the schools will be inevitable.”
