NDC Says They Will Only Attend Akufo-Addo’s Inauguration As President If….

The honourable minority leader in Ghana’s Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu has said that the minority will only attend the inauguration of President Akufo-Addo on 7th January if Techiman South parliamentary results are re-collated.

Mr Iddrisu insists that the Parliamentary results of the constituency as declared by the EC is not the will of the people.

The NDC has consistently insisted that they won the seat in the Techiman South constituency even though the EC has declared it for the NPP’s Martin Agyei Mensah Korsah.

It is unclear if the NDC will go to court to challenge the EC’s declaration.
