EC Ignores NDC Protests And Proceeds On Christmas Break – Set To Resume After Akufo-Addo Is Inaugurated

The Electoral Commission has announced that it will break for the Christmas festivities on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

This announcement comes amidst wild protests by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) who have expressed disagreement with the results of the 2020 polls.

The NDC has been contesting several parliamentary seats which they say was wrongfully declared for the NPP.

They have also refused to recognise Akufo-Addo as President-elect insisting they’ll go every length to ensure John Mahama is declared President come January 7.
