NDC Elections: Opare Addo, Bissiw Retain Positions

The incumbent National Youth Organizer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) George Opare Oddo and National women’s Organizer, Dr Hannah Bissiw have both retained their positions in the election held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Cape Coast.

George Opare Addo aka Pablo secured 533 votes to beat his closest contender, Brogya Gyemfi who polled 508 votes.

In the Deputy Youth Organizers election where ten aspirants contested, Osman Abdulai Agariga got 373 while Ruth Dela Saddoh had 313, hence Abdulai Agariga and Dela Saddoh were elected as the Deputy National Youth Organizers.

Meanwhile, in the National Women’s Organizer, Dr Hannah Bisiw polled 433 votes while Margaret Ansei a former Municipal Chief Executive for Suhum garnered 362 votes.

In the Deputy National Women’s Organizer position where two persons were to be elected, Abigail A.E Mensah had 348 while Felicia Dzifa Tegah had 260, hence they were duly elected.
