Ghanaian singer and a confessed member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) MzBel, has disclosed the main rationale behind the absence of celebrities in the party’s election 2020 campaign.
Contrary to comments by former President John Mahama, MzBel says the NDC is not financially sound to fund celebrity endorsements this year.
She explains that the NDC being in opposition does not have enough money to engage in such a business venture.
The “16 years” hitmaker believes despite the absence of these influential people, the NDC is poised for victory in the upcoming 2020 general elections.
