My Support For NDC Ruined My Career But I Have No Regrets- Mr. Beautiful

Clement Bonney, widely recognized as Mr. Beautiful, has publicly expressed his dissatisfaction with the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP). In a recent interview on Onua FM, the actor voiced concerns over what he perceives as the NPP’s failure to fulfill its promises and adequately support its loyal followers.

Comparing the achievements of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) during their tenure, Mr. Beautiful highlighted the infrastructure developments initiated under the NDC. “NDC in 4 years built new airports, harbours, more schools, and more hospitals,” he remarked, questioning the accomplishments of the NPP during their eight-year administration. “But what do the NPP supporters have to show for their toil when you all went to support President Akufo-Addo and his driver’s mate Bawumia for 8 years, what do they have to show for it?” he asked.

Mr. Beautiful’s criticism extended to fellow actors Kalybos and Agya Koo, who are known supporters of the NPP. He suggested that their support for the NPP should leave them feeling ashamed due to the perceived lack of progress under the party’s leadership. “If I were Kalybos or Agya Koo, I would cover my head with a scarf because I would be too ashamed to show my face in public. It has been 8 years, what do they have to show for it?” he questioned.

Despite the career impact of his support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Beautiful reaffirmed his commitment to the party. He stated that he stands by his decision to support the NDC, and would make the same choice again without hesitation or remorse.
