The controversial Ashanti Regional Chairman of the NPP, Bernard Antwi Boasiako has alleged that about 48 Members of Parliament for the National Democratic Congress(NDC) have been infected with the deadly coronavirus disease.
The Regional Chairman popularly known as Chairman Wontumi said information reaching him indicates that more than 48 NDC MP’s in parliament are positive with the COVID-19 virus.
Chairman Wontumi further alleged that the NDC is just covering up for their leaders and also there are some NPP MP’s who have also tested positive for the virus.
There had been some claims recently by the Deputy National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress, Kwaku Boahen, that most of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) party officials are contracting the disease because of their dishonesty, and that NDC Officials are not being affected because of their honesty.
