The governing New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Deputy Communications Director, Richard Asante Yeboah, says former President John Dramani Mahama’s administration is no match for President Nana Akufo-Addo’s.
Former President Mahama has been hitting hard on President Akufo-Addo lately.
Mr. Mahama among other things has accused President Akufo-Addo of mismanaging the economy, leading to what he calls unprecedented levels of hardship in the country.
He went ahead to advise the government to admit the difficulties Ghanaians are currently facing and find ways of alleviating those hardships.
Speaking on The Big Issue on Citi TV, Mr. Asante Yeboah said Mr. Mahama is in no position to advise the President on how to run the country as the latter is better off.
“There is no area that former President Mahama can compare his performance to that of President Akufo-Addo’s. In terms of providing support to the people, provision of utility, dealing with roads and infrastructure, health, and many more. The kilometers of roads covered by this government are unprecedented. And the facts are there to show.”
“By the end of this administration, we will break records. Mr. Mahama cannot compare his administration to ours. He is in no place to do so.”
