Movie actor, Clement Bonney popularly known as Mr Beautiful has insisted that the country’s entertainment industry can only be revived by former president John Mahama.
Speaking on Okay FM, he noted that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer is an entertainer and a DJ who has the ability to breathe life into the dying entertainment industry.
“The only person who can revive the entertainment industry is John Mahama because he’s an entertainer. Do you know President Mahama is a DJ? He will entertain you seriously. I wish everyone could be with John Mahama for some few minutes,” he said.
Mr Beautiful further claimed that President Akufo Addo and his lineage do not believe in entertainment. They only use it for their parochial interest during elections to garner votes.
He stated, “Halifax, I’ve shown you the trend, look at Kutu Acheampong, Rawlings, Attah Mills, John Mahama look at the line. Dankwa Busia Tradition knows nothing and they can’t do anything for the entertainment industry or the movie industry. They don’t believe in the industry and it’s clear because they’ve not done anything for the industry.”
