A former Vice Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Mr Daniel Agbodakpi has charged the rank and file of the party to reignite the party’s success.
According to him, the NDC over the years have become ‘lame’; a reason they’re unable to achieve success in recent times.
He noted that till the NDC arises and become formidable, they cannot win the 2024 polls even with the best flagbearer.
He said this at a forum organised on Saturday by some members of the NDC, cadres to be precise, on the future of the party.
“This forum is a recognition of the fact that we have a formidable political organization which unfortunately has become lame. Assuming that you are running a race with a strong horse, the horse is lame. Can you ride the horse to victory? So, it is our collective responsibility to think through the actions that will heal the horse, strengthen the horse so that when we get a rider, however capable that rider is, he will have a very strong horse that will carry him to victory,” he said.
