According to ‘RMC Sport’, Kylian Mbappe has rejected PSG’s latest renewal offer. The player’s desire is to play for Real Madrid, who could try to sign him before the end of the transfer window. If the Frenchman leaves, the Parisians would try to sign Richarlison.
With just a week to go until the market closes, Kylian Mbappe looks set to be the star of the summer transfer window, as rumours of a possible move to Real Madrid become more and more frequent.
The Paris Saint-Germain star could be the star of the summer. Real Madrid seem ready to make an offer if PSG agree to sell the player, whose wish is to play at the Santiago Bernabeu.
So far, the Parisian side have unsuccessfully tried time and again to renew the player, who recently rejected another new proposal from his current club.
According to reports from ‘RMC Sport’, PSG put a five-year contract (plus an optional sixth) on the table for the French international. It included a salary increase, although it kept him on the third rung of the team’s wage ladder behind Messi and Neymar.
At the moment, everything points to Mbappe completing his contract with the Parc des Princes (which ends in 2022) and then leaving, but the team from the City of Light seems to already have a ‘plan B‘ in case there is a change in the situation this summer.
According to the aforementioned media, the Parisians have been in contact in recent days with Richarlison, a Brazilian striker currently playing for Premier League side Everton.
The player is also a close friend of Neymar, who had suggested his name to the club’s sporting management to cover a possible departure of Mbappé to Real Madrid, who could submit an offer for the French star this week.
