Supporters of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) have massed up at the Electoral Commission office in Ridge and are protesting amidst burning of tyres demanding that the EC review the 2020 electoral results and declare the party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama as President-elect.
This has led to a stand off between them and the police who can be seen spraying water on the rioting supporters.
The NDC have been holding a nationwide protest since the declaration of the 2020 poll results.
They have refused to accept the verdict of the polls and have vowed to use all legitimate means to address their concerns.
