John Mahama’s Gov’t Collapsed 72 Banks, Refused to Pay Pensioners- Economist

An economist, Mr. Eric Kyei Baffour has shaded the National Democratic Congress (NDC) by recalling their appalling economic record which led to the collapse of 72 indigenous banks.

Mr. Kyei Baffour stated on Wontumi which was monitored by Wontumionline.com that under the watch of former President John Dramani Mahama, pensioners were refused their investments and therefore finds it nauseating for members of the NDC to turnaround and castigate the ruling government over the domestic debt exchange programme.

Under your watch you never paid monies to pensioners and today you have the moral right to say you want to go on nationwide tour?… For 72 months, you didn’t pay moneys meant for pensioners”.

He continued that “72 banks collapsed under Mahama…When NDC comes to power, the brains sleep, they don’t have anything to move the economy.”
