Honorable Kennedy Agyapong, a member of parliament has revealed that, the late MP for Hon. JB Danquah’s death was an inside job.
The outspoken Assin Fosu Central MP recounted how the whole incident happened on that fateful day when JB was murdered.
He said he was in the house when he received a call from the police that, one of their MP’s had been murdered by armed robbers. Quickly, he drove to the house of the late JB Danquah where he was ushered in by three policemen to the crime scene.
Before then, he took a detective look around the house and realised that, an intruder could only enter the house through the main entrance and to use that path, it could only be done by the assistance of an insider.
Interestingly, just when he pondered on such observations, the police directed him to a window where there was a supposed ladder by which the suspect had used in entering the house to carry the evil act.
Years after, judgement on the case still remains shrouded and Hon. Kennedy explained how the circumstances behind handling of the case and investigations proved indeed that it was an inside job.
First, the suspect was kept in a cells where he was given a cell phone to use which the MP says was wrong and questionable.
He further went on to reveal that, the mentioning of names of some prominent people such as former president Mahama, Stan Dogbe, Amadu Sologo- former MP for Madina, William Smith and Woyome in the the honorable member’s death should be a wake up call to Ghanaians to question the death of the MP.
He expressed his disappointment in the NPP government and the Ghana police for making no headway in JB Danquah’s murder case.
JB Danguah was a member of parliament for the Abuakwa North who was murdered in cold blood in his house on the 9th of April, 2016.
Also, a police officer who was present during the interrogation of the suspect, refused to speak on the issue until he went on pension.
