Invest The Black Stars Money In Ghana Music – Wendy Shay To GFA

Published

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian musicians, Wendy Shay has made an appeal to the Ghana Football Association following Black Stars disappointment in Cameroon.

Ghanaians hoped that the senior national team would reverse their fortunes in their last two AFCON 2021 games against Comoros, who were last in Group C and had yet to win.

However, Comoros surprised Ghanaians by defeating the Black Stars in a thrilling 3-2 victory, while Ghana’s captain, Dede Ayew, was sent out after just two minutes.

Ghanaians have been furious with the GFA, Black Stars players, and coach Milovan Rajevac following the loss and elimination from the tournament, which is the first since 2006.

Wendy Shay has also joined the chorus of Ghanaians who are criticizing her. The GFA, she believes, should consider reinvesting the money spent on the Black Stars in Ghanaian music.
