Legendary singer Kojo Antwi, better known as “Mr. Music Man,” has disclosed that he is working on rebranding and has plans to change his name.

The renowned artist claims that his stage name, “Kojo Antwi,” may change in the coming year (2023) for reasons he’d rather keep private for the time being.

After working in the music business for many years, he feels there is still room for improvement, which is why he has to rebrand and give music fans more of himself.

“We’ll be pursuing something else next year. There will soon be a name change, he disclosed.

“I can always go back and tap into that, but I still believe there’s a lot that I have that is not out there,” he added, adding that he might change the name. The book thus encounters other things. There will be a lot coming.

On the program, Mr. Music Man, as he is called, also claimed that people have the wrong idea about his musical style and that he is not a highlife musician. He said, “My music is termed Afro Pop, African Popular Music.

He claimed that he does all genres since he was blessed with a voice to sing all kinds of music, despite the fact that his songs have highlife elements.

He believes Ghanaian music is incapable.

He further stated on the broadcast that effective laws are needed to improve the organization, having served as the head of GHAMRO in 2015.

Kojo Antwi contends that musicians’ ignorance of GHAMRO’s procedures and business affairs is the cause of the organization’s apparent inefficiency.

“Education is important for everyone, especially musicians, because to us, music is not a product.

The copyright issue first surfaced in France, where acceptance of it required education of the populace.

We pursued it when I was the chairman.

Give GHAMRO permission to act however they choose.

GHAMRO needs a little legislation, he responded when asked if things will ever become better.

The leaders must sign laws for them to be enforceable, so we need laws to control what we do.

The renowned musician responded that anybody he has the opportunity to converse with and music lovers in general inspire him.

He remarked, “I thank everyone for supporting me, and I thank my followers and music enthusiasts.”

The “Nfa Me Nko Ho” hitmaker is set to dazzle fans with thrilling performances at his Love Songs Unlimited Concert on Saturday, December 24, 2022. The veteran is also set to release his fourteenth album in 2023.
