The Omanhen of the Oguaa Traditional Area, Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II disclosed he couldn’t avoid dancing when Prof Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang was announced as running mate for former president John Mahama.
He disclosed this when Naana Agyemang and other National Democratic Congress (NDC) leaders paid a courtesy call on him last Wednesday.
“I don’t know how to dance ‘bugaloo’ but that day I danced ‘bugaloo’ in my room,” he said amidst laughter.
Bugaloo also referred to as boogaloo is a fast dance of Afro-American origin performed by couples and characterised by dancing apart and moving the body in short, quick movements to the beat of the music.
Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II also advised Naana Agyemang to eschew politics of insults but have a listening ear for all.
“Don’t respond to everything you hear, listen to all but you must not let insults and acrimonious language be part of your politics,” he said.
He added, “the responsibility is huge and the nature of people, particularly in politics, is different.
Naana Agyemang visited the Traditional Area as part of her tour to introduce herself to the chiefs and people of the Central region where she hails from, according to the Daily Graphic.
