Mahama Pledges To Complete Abandoned Projects And Pay Assembly Members Monthly If Elected

Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama has promised to ensure all abandoned projects by President Akufo Addo and his government are completed when he wins power on December 7.

According to him, the Akufo Addo led administration have abandoned projects that started under his tenure including schools, health facilities and roads.

He promised to complete all those abandoned projects and continue with Akufo Addo’s own should he be elected president again come December 7.

He made this known while addressing the Ghana Association of Assembly Members in his office on Friday July 31.

John Mahama further pledged training programmes for assembly members to better equip them and also pay them monthly allowances to motivate them serve their communities better.

He explained that assembly members have become community development agents aside attending to the day to day needs of the people.
